Vaughn and his wife Tenia have been married since 1970.  They have one daughter, Lacey who is happily married.  Vaughn has an Associate degree in Electronics and was President of Yadkin Well Co. Inc. & Piedmont Water Conditioning Co. Inc.  He is an active member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Hamptonville, NC. Vaughn has been on more than 50 International mission trips concentrating on evangelism, construction & water purification, but has a strong call to the Good Shepherd Ministry in Guatemala.
