Jill became active with the Good Shepherd Ministries through several mission trips with Baptists on Mission and her church, First Baptist Church of Concord, NC. She has a heart for missions and has served not only locally and nationally but also internationally in the Dominican Republic, South Africa and Guatemala. She serves in the local body as a youth leader, five year old Sunday school teacher and Missions Committee member.

Jill and her husband, Jim, have two children, Bailey and Tucker. She is blessed to have been able to stay at home while raising her children and considers this her greatest role in life. In 1988 she received a BS in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University and worked briefly for the Department of Defense.
